[Slowhand] RE: Jack Bruce link

I checked this pointer to Jack's site out, and interestingly, found a note
in Jack's diary dated May 14, 2004 that there was something big on the
horizon for next year. This says to me that Eric, Jack and Ginger have
quietly been working towards the re-union for several months, and reading
between the lines, my guess is that they have already held rehearsals and
been happy with the results. In true politician's style, they have then
leaked the news of a possible re-union to assess public reaction (which we
are all currently providing) to the project. That of course would be the
logical way to arrange something like this.
This "no official comment from representatives of any of the musicians" line
really cracks me up.

I do agree with John Walasko's endorsement of Ginger's drumming on his most
recent jazz recordings. There is no way the guy has lost his touch, that is
for certain, and if my assertions above are right, then we may also assume
that Ginger's shoulder has fully recovered. Hopefully all this can
translate well to the requirements of playing with Cream again.

Cheers,
Jon
