EC scores five songs in The Rolling Stone Greatest Songs of All Time:

Hard to believe these songs (excluding "Tears....") didn't chart higher upon release.  "Layla" barely cracked the top ten and "Crossroads" peaked at #28?   

Excited British DJ John Peel, preparing to spin "Crossroads" said, "If you thought Eric Clapton was human, you'd better listen to this...."
