  I was listening to an EC interview this morning and this subject came up. Per the interview, Eric had just returned from finishing Roger Waters' European tour in Paris, and he went to the show just to see Bob play. Bob saw him standing in the wings and went over to him, asked him to play, and proceeded to ignore the audience and show Eric the chords of the song he wanted EC to play on. Then it just happened. EC went on to say that one of the things he loves about Bob most is his spontaneity and said this was a good example.
