Hi Joey.....in regards to ram, the best way I can explain it is that the more ram you have, the more temporary info you can store, and that means it cuts down on the time the computer has to access the hard drive.

Great news about you getting your stuff together after the disaster.  And on a selfish note...great news about the video collectin Vol. 2
