Well, if you leave it for 35 years, you can certainly do a lot of other
things with it.

For a start you can pick it up, then you could.....

Use it as a car hood ornament, feature on the mantlepiece, paperweight,
chalk substitute, hanging mobile, earing, necklace......


There is another saying regarding casting pearls before swine that comes to
mind.


But my favourite is:

"You can lead a cat that's changed it's spots to the barn door with a silver
lining but it's no use crying over the demise of Cream and Blind Faith"
