XM Satellite radio has produced various special programs above and beyond the many channels they offer.  One such program was the Allman Bros. Band performing 'Eat a Peach' live in the XM studios a few years back.

It occurs to me that with EC's current touring band coupled with the fact that the US tour winds down in October, that EC has a unique opportunity to do a similar thing for LAOALS:

The band have rehearsed and played many of the Dominos tunes:

and Little Queen of Spades could easily be re-tooled for HYELAW.

Derek Trucks downright *channels* Duane Allman on some of these songs, especially 'I Am Yours'.  Just add Bobby Whitlock as a guest musician for a little keyboards and a Bobby/Derek/EC 'Thorn Tree in the Garden' ending and you have one fine broadcast.  All on the anniversary of the October 1970 recording of the original !!

But still, with all of the EC's recent mining of his past bands of late, I would love to have someone present the idea to him....
