Tony,

I recently uploaded to Dime all the non-official tracks from the Dominos
Fillmore nights.

This stuff sounded absolutely amazing. Better than soundboard quality.

After about 5 or 6 hours it was banned because it was lossy.

To cut a long story short, I finally discovered the subtleties of "spectral
view",

and after much effort (thanks to Bryan Reid) I finally uploaded the LOSSLESS
VERSION.

Now to be perfectly honest I can't tell the slightest difference at all
between the two.

BUT THERE IS NO WAY I'M GOING TO LISTEN TO THAT FUCKING LOSSY CRAP!

How's that for being an anal retentive? (My problem, no one else's)

The only problem with the MP3s being properly labeled, is just that.

Now to finish with a sweeping generalisation:

For the most part, the people who will accept MP3s, track-at-once,
digi-noise, fm broadcast via the microphone in front of the radio speaker,
etc are the same people who will never label such.

Compulsory EC content:

After a 17 year absence from our shores, I happily spent in excess of $4,000
(Oz) for what should be a great night on 29th January 2007.
