Actually, I doubt if Clapton would have made such irresponsible
statements. He would be undermining the integrity of his rehab centre.

Of course he may well have thought it, as do we all. And, I would not
put it past Spears and her ilk to say Clapton said it.

Britney check in to the Crossroads centre last week. But her credit card
was empty. Speaking at an addiction conference in Las Vegas, Clapton
said that despite frantic calls to her bank Britney could not come up
with the money after a massive spending binge cleaned out her checking
