[Slowhand] Warners announcement

Just received this post from the official site, which I thought was
worth repeating here.
Nice to hear Warners has the imagination to release a new Eric Best Of,
creatively titled "Complete Clapton".
A track list is not available yet, but one would at least hope that it
covers ALL of Eric's career, not just the post-82 era covered by his
tenure at Warner/Reprise.
And let's hope it's not just another excuse to repackage Wonderful
Tonight, Tears In Heaven, Layla (acoustic), etc, etc. Need I go on.
Hopefully this will not thwart plans to issue a good live album from the
just completed world tour, or another Crossroads Festival DVD along the
lines of the previous one, which was a winner on all counts.

Cheers,
Jon

Dearest fans,

For those of you that live in Chicago there is a rumor going around that
Eric is playing Buddy Guy's Legends club tonight. This is completely
NOT TRUE.

Eric is not playing at Buddy Guy's club in Chicago tonight or any other
night. There is absolutely no truth to the rumor.

What is true is that he's playing Crossroads Guitar Festival this
Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Chicago's Toyota Park! For more information
please visit: http://crossroadsguitarfestival2007.com/

Also in case you haven't heard yet Clapton is realeasing an
autobiography and a greatest hits double CD titled "Complete Clapton"
set for an October 9, 2007 release!

There is a lot going on in 2007 so stay close.
