Subject: Big news just for MOSE enewsletter subscribers!!!
B.B. King is the BIG headliner for the final night of the 25th Annual Chicago Blues Festival!!
And you're hearing about it first!!! B.B. King, known as the King of the Blues, has performed worldwide, and at age 82, he continues to tour as often as he did in his youth. King last played at the Chicago Blues Festival in 1988, so this festival will be a welcome return!
King has influenced many talented musicians, including Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and George Harrison; has won numerous awards, honorary doctorates, and in 1984, was inducted into the Blues Foundation Hall of Fame. B.B. King performs Sunday, June 8th at approximately 8 p.m. at the Petrillo Music Shell in Grant Park.
Chicago Blues Festival takes place June 5-8, 2008 in Grant Park. Free admission! More than 100 performers on six stages! For more information, visit http://www.chicagobluesfestival.us
