Saw a rerun of Twins with Arnie & Danny De Vito the other day - and lo and
behold in a bar scene there was Jeff Beck on 2 numbers - a country-blues
(leaning more to country and western) and a 80s type rocker. Both songs had
short solos which sounded like a model airplane doing a take-off and
loope-de-loop. Guess if he had to play a classical piece he'd simply port
the solo over to that style as well without changing a note or a beat. Now
ain't that nasty.
