Hi,
Ok. I'm going to add my 2¢.

I like the CD. It has grown on me. I was initially disappointed,
especially after the first cut, "Travelin' Alone". I think that is a
great lead in to the disc. It has a nice rocking groove, and I got
all excited, then you get hit with the mellow tune "Rockin' Chair").
I don't want to visualize Eric in a rocking chair. Not yet!

After repeated listens, it is definitely a disc with a mood, and
needs to be played when you are shooting for that mood. It is on the
mellow side for sure. But it works well when mixed in with a variety
of other discs.

I actually think the "bonus" songs are some of my favorites, and wish
they would have done a different song arrangement that would have
included those songs on the CD. They could have taken some of the
real slow ones (like "Rockin' Chair") and made those bonus cuts. With
a different song arrangement, the disc would flow better and would be
less mellow, and more bluesy.

Overall, I'll bet out of all the songs that were recorded for this
release, some of us could have chosen 75 minutes worth, and come up
with a more lively, better flowing disc.

I like the playing, and the singing. And I'm still happy he released
some new recordings.

John
