[Slowhand] Clapton's new album

It's funny you should say that, because a few days ago I got out Escondido, which I hadn't played in ages, and am really enjoying it.
At the time I felt it was good, but just similar to JJ Cale's other recent albums, but I'm appreciating it more now in its own right.
I've often found albums which grow on you over a period of time are ultimately more satisfying than those you like immediately (but of course there are always exceptions).

Cheers,
Jon

I think you'll find that EC's albums grow on you, and that they sound better months or years later than they do initially. I never liked ANY of his albums since Blind Faith ... initially, with just a few exceptions. I still am not in love with many of them, but most, if not all, contain a few good or even great tracks.
