So, Daniel Shearon comes up with the following recommendation. I have
never heard of this band ( exactly the point here ) but will check them
out, because anyone named after Duane Allman cannot be all bad. And
Dickie Betts is pretty cool in my book, too. I have been meaning to pick
up 'Pattern Disruptive' as well and should get around to that.

    Thanks Daniel.

My suggestion is Dawes - "North Hills"
Dawes are my current obsession, this is their first album and is closer to
Americana than anything. Great harmonies, fantastic guitar playing, and
great songwriting. Standout tracks are "Western Skyline", "When My Time
Comes", and "Peace in the Valley".

Clapton connection: is a bit tenuous, They recently added Dwayne Betts to
the band. Dwayne is Dickie Betts' son and is named for Dwayne Allman.
