The coast gaurd and the NRCS is supposed to be handling the canal clean out.
Lake Borgne Levee District has also been involved in some of the canal clean
ups.
 
This issue has been an ongoing battle for some time.  Ricky Melerine has
been fighting this issue continuously.

can you tell me what is being done to clean up the debris in bayou la loutre
deposited there from the storm? boats are constantly hitting submerged
debris in the bayou.
