Craig, I don't think that most people go in with a pre-conceived negative
feeling toward politicians. People feel the person they're voting for is
honest and will work to make a positive impact. Unfortunately,most
politicians falter along the way. David Vitter and Bobby Jindal seem to be
good people, but who knows.
I know,and have known, of a couple of good politicians in St.Bernard. If the
elected official is honest and stays honest there will be good feelings
towards him.  Elected officials have families,and they should be respected,
but the politician shouldn't do anything to shed a bad light on his family
or himself.
