This is as true as it gets. LA, regardless of political affiliation has a
grave number of bad people doing bad things.

At the elected officials level however, it is no exception. We voted in more
"criminals, robbers and thieves" than most other states and the facts speak
for that. Corruption is abound because we trust sleaze and silence the
courageous and pitiful of heart.

" In the ten years ending in 2006, Louisiana accumulated more public
corruption convictions per capita than any other state. Based on a rate per
100,000 residents, Louisiana had 7.67 convictions, easily outdistancing
second place Mississippi, which had only 6.66 convictions. "

Jer: When voters go to the polls, they must think about this when electing
loud-mouths, liars and the obvious corrupt. As one has said, "Corruption is
corrosive". They should conscious of that before pulling the switch and
allowing a potential corrupt politician-one whose aim is to allow himself to
be self-served. If you select someone whose actual heart is clouded by gild
and deceit, you're going to live with your choice, beyond the expulsion of
the corrupted. Remember, people do not change their heart because they are
elected. (ex. Corrupt to good. It however is the other way around: Good,
then corrupted or corrupt to up escalated corrupted).

The towns, cities and state is painted with this evil. Don't be a part of
the problem. Trust your mind and not your heart because voters are far from
stupid. They just make weak, unconscious decisions at times.
