Motorists beware: Lane closures ahead on Judge Perez in Chalmette

Motorists traveling on East Judge Perez Drive where it passes Chalmette High
School should be prepared to slow down beginning Tuesday morning as
construction on an overhead walkway progresses. 

The construction on the walkway, which will link the campus of Chalmette
High School to the new 9th Grade Academy being built across the street, will
require alternating lane closures, the St. Bernard Parish school district
said.

The closures will begin at 8 a.m. Tuesday and continue until further notice
in the 1100 block of East Judge Perez Drive.
