[Woodcarver] Three Questions

Opps......guess I forgot to put my info down when I posed the three questions.  I am currently self taught.  Back when I used to smoke (12 years ago or so) my lovely wife made me do so out in the garage which became my "hobby" area.  I did basket weaving, woodburning, scrollsawing and woodcarving in the round. Did an eagle, shark (it's a florida thing) and an otter or two.  Then I quite smoking (thank God) and went back indoors and got out of all my crafts.  But I used books (which I don't remember) to learn by.  I then went into apartment living with no extra area.  I'm not sure how I got another dose of the desire to carve again but I got Wayne Barton's chip carving book and a couple of Two Cherries knives and here I am.  Now I'm heading down the relief carving path as you have seen by my previous posts.  And I am 48 so I'm not sure about the late in life line........God bless
