[Woodcarver] Question 1, Question 2, Question 3

Started carving around 11-12 years old (about 1938).  Didn't know anyone else 
was carving so for years I muddled through on my own.   In 1900 I discovered 
the New England Woodcarvers at a Mall show (Wow, here were 50 other people who 
were carving!)  And I began to expand my horizon.  
    Can't say I am totally autodidactic. Early on I learned by doing, but 
later books on woodcarving began to be available, and I was able to take seminars 
from people like Harold Enlow, Desiree Hajny, Harley refsal, Franks Russell 
and Peter Benson.
