[Woodcarver] Question 1, Question 2, Question 3

1.  I think my carving started in WWII, when I was a kid trying to carve
solid model airplanes.  But I didn't keep it up, other than  occasionally
carving a face on a stick or such.

2. I've taught myself a lot, but the help I've gotten from my various
teachers going back for 30 years or more has been absolutely
invaluable--especially Joe Dillett, Bob Mau, Jan Oegema, Fred Cogelow, and
evey other carver I've spent a few minutes with.

3. I got serious about it late in life, when I retired, but there's never
been a time when I wasn't interested in carving.
