Many thanks for your comments re. how you learned to carve. I enjoyed
reading it and it was most enlightening. I always like to know about folks
from whom I have bought things, etc. Makes it seem more personal somehow.
And now a question or two if I may. Do you do all of the patterns
for sale on your site? There are so many, I wouldn't think it possible for
even one or two people to have done them all. If not all, how do you find them?
No, I am not asking for specific sources so I can order from there and beat you
out of your business. Your exact sources are your business, but I am just
curious about how you gathered all of these.
With running your business, how do you find time to carve now? I'm
retired and have a part-time furniture repair business and do some custom
woodturning and seem to find time for that and my carving tends to take a bit of
a back seat to that, other than when I must carve something on a piece of
furniture, etc.
My biggest weakness is painting what I carve. I must have a dozen
pieces in my shop that are finished, but not painted.
Again, my thanks for taking the time to relate your carving
experience.
My best,
Tom
