Hey Ray,
Take one of the pens to Home Depot and go to the
plumbing section. Look for the clear flexible plastic
tubing. This comes in several sizes. One size should
fit over the pen. Buy a foot or two and cover all of
the pens.

Hello again, I didn't want to mix a question with my
last response, so here is my request. My neice has
been doing some beautiful woodburning with a plug in
pen with no heat control. Her kids gave her an
expensive Detail Master and a variety of tips for
Christmas. You know the reasoning on this; better
tools = better work. The problem is that the pens get
too hot to hold in about 10 minutes. The company says
go with the fixed tip pens. Same problem. Is there a
satisfactory solution to this problem?? Another
question: Anyone
