SOUTH American Mahogany. Now that makes a big difference. I was
thinking about North American and did not think it grew in the
States. Mahoganies from Brazil and other South American
Countries as well as some in the Carribean are some of the best
in the world.
Peter mentioned that the grain was not like other Mahoganies that
he had seen. This would seem to be the Luan. It has the general
color of Mahogany but the grain is very open and, to me, not that
attractive.
