[Woodcarver] "Price" virus

Merrilee, the virus may not (and probably did not) come from your
computer. Most of the viruses these days will spoof the from
addresses. Whoever did have the virus probably had your e-mail address
in their computer, or in the case of the last one I received, the
Woodcarver List, and sent out the virus. They select the "from" at
random; in an address book which is infected, it may select one
address for the "From" and the rest for the "To" field. If your
e-mail address was listed as "from", it likely didn't come from your
machine. The virus writers don't want people to know which machine it
came from.

Probably the only thing you can do is to make sure YOUR virus
definitions are up to date and then run a scan of YOUR system. If it
does not find a virus, the culprit is not you.
