[Woodcarver] tips for walking sticks

You might try making your own from copper, brass or stainless steel pipe which is available from many sources in different diameters.  I have found that I can even put the little pipe segments over a sanding drum (use different grits of paper to shim up or down as needed for a good fit) and use a file to taper the ferrules or tips if desired.

  I am looking for a good site for tips to put on walking sticks. I love carving sticks but always have trouble finding good ollking ferrals. Any help will be great.
