Good grief. Thought I was gone, didn't you? Well, I was. For a minute or
two. But now I'm back. But I'll be gone again soon..........

I've been struggling with complications from what was to be a "simple" tooth
extraction - ended up with an infection and "dry socket" and unbearable pain,
blah blah blah. Antibiotics and pain meds now, which are helping, but it's a
slow process. Waited as long as I possibly could to start my trek to Ohio,
but knowing I'd never make it in time if I didn't get out of here by today, I
packed the car, and left Seattle this afternoon. 120 miles later, the pain
and nausea was so bad, I just couldn't go any further without some pain relief
- but my driving would be even worse if I took my meds, so.....what?
Well, after doing a bit of crying, then stopping to sit awhile in a forest park
wrestling with "shoulds" and "cans" and other such traveling companions - I
realized this was NOT going to work. Soooooooooooooooo......I turned around,
came back home, took my meds and went to sleep. (Okay, I do admit to finally
taking the pain meds about 30 minutes before I actually got back home)

I just made a plane reservation for Thursday morning so I'll be at my Angel's
wedding no matter what. After all, my bags are already packed :-)

Still in Seattle,

Teri
