Hmmmm Kevin, you sound like the perfect candidate for, Marv Kaiseratt' s
book "Creating Caricature Heads" in Wood and Paper, a step-by-step guide
for Designing and Carving heads and faces. (G)
Also you might take make look for Pete LeClair's book "Carving Caricature
Figures From Scratch".
Both books could provide the help you are loking for.
Check with your local carving supply outlet, or put out a "Please help me"
attention "BigDog" here on the list .(G)
