    To everybody south of the Mason Dixon Line,  I'm planning on heading south about the 10th of Dec and am wondering if anyone knows of anything going on relating to woodcarving during this season.  I have a tentative stop at Charolette NC for a few days. (A new log home with two 18" dia posts about 30' tall holding up the main roof (cathedral ceiling of the great room, which is about the size of my house).  Might do some carving on them (Yellow Pine that I don't particularly relish).  Probably won't do more than 6' or so,  I'm thinking grape leaves, vines, and a few bunches of grapes,  but maybe not.)  Other than that, I don't have any particular schedule, itinerary or destination enroute to Florida.  I'll probably come home about 10 Jan for a few days and go again.
