Agreed: Ron's knives are some of the best around. I have over a half dozen
and I have taken Ron's flat gouges and reduced them to sizes I wanted. Ron
make a great tool!

Dan
I would concur with the others. I have several of Ron's knives and would
highly recommend them. If you want to make short work of cross grain, it
slices through the wood with little resistance. Keeping an edge on it is
easy. I can take large cuts and feel confident that the knife will be
intact and the cut will be clean.

Hi Dan,

I'll have to second Lon's choice, Ron Wells makes one of the best cutting
knives I have ever used. I don't use knives very much as a rule for the
types of carvings I do, but when I do, I reach for his most often.

Good Evening,

I've been thinkin g of investing in a high quality carving knife for general
purpose caricature carving, not detail. I have been looking, and there are
many different brands, Helvie, Diobsud Forge, Cape Forge, and Denny knives.
I would like to hear your opinions on the best choice.

Thanks,
Dan Heine
