Hi Dave,

Waiting for something to develop, like a round-up in your part of the
country, doesn't ever work, or almost never works. Talking a leadership role
and making it happen does work. Whatever it takes, do it and make it happen.

It doesn't have to be BIG to be successful. It doesn't have to be EXPENSIVE
to be successful. All it takes a some woodcarvers who are willing to come
together for fun and to share their knowledge and the willingness for
someone to do the work to make it happen.

or any other states that feel deprived of carver's gatherings... what would
it take to get something like this going in this part of the country? and
where would be the place to do it? waiting for something to develop doesn't
seem to be working, LOL. what's a bit of driving when you have to go a
couple hundred miles to get a good price on a gallon of milk? I know your
out there, lets toss around some ideas.

Dave
