[Woodcarver] Can anyone help?

Hi, All, I don't remember if I told you -- I've shown the woodburnings and
jewelry I've made in the last 3 weeks. I had woodburned some "people"
pictures from scroll saw patterns and from "pencil drawn" pictures in books.
I got lots of great comments from many different people -- I sold the John
Wayne picture from the scroll saw pattern, but no others. The pictures from
the book received many flattering comments, but no buyers. I did have many
inquiries about burning pictures of people from family pictures. I have
never attempted that, but guess I'll try some of my family. You are all so
acknowledgeable, talented and helpful that I'm requesting your input. Do
you have any tips, knowledge, where to find info or whatever you would deem
helpful? I want to try, but am sorta scared. What's your advise? I've
seen some great burnings using the dot, dot, dot method of shading, but am not
happy with it for me and would prefer using a more realistic method. What
is the general opinion?
Thanks in advance,
Sylda Nichols
