    Good Luck to you.
    My prayers are with you and Carol.
    I remember how I felt when I was waiting for surgery.
    The only drawback is you may have to take some time off from carving.  There is more pressure across you chest between your arms than you realize.
    Now you will have plenty of time to read all the carving magazines.

     It looks like I'm a few days ahead of you, Carol. I had my cath yesterday, (Tues.) and there was 64% blockage found in one artery, so it looks like a valve replacement and a bypass will be done on either Monday or Wednesday of next week.We're waiting to hear from the Surgeons office as to scheduling. 

     I extend the best of Holiday wishes to this Carving Community in hopes that you may get some idea of what your support means to those of us who have hit some bumpy spots in this road we all are traveling.
