[Woodcarver] Can anyone help?

I've never seen this done. I and all I know trace the pattern on through
the pattern and graphite with a pen or stylus; remove the pattern; burn the
pattern that is on the wood. The pattern is quite defined and doesn't make
come off easily. If you have more questions -- ask them!!
