[Woodcarver] Bible Cover

    Just to add to Reddogg's comments on the wood cover for the Bible - I
lived in Coos Bay, Oregon in 1970 and I remember that local woodmakers also
made these covers out of Myrtlewood.  As you know Myrtlewood is only grown
in this area of Oregon and can be found also in the holyland.  It would be
worth contacting carvers in Oregon, like Art who is on our woodcarving web
and see if he has any ideas on shops doing this work.  I still have two
pieces of Myrtlewood vases that I purchased from the Mrytlewood Chalet in
North Port, Oregon.
