[Woodcarver] Anybody carve bird's nests?

Hi Jean,
We had this very question come up in Michigan in December and here are the 
results:

Caning material
Long vee-tool gouges,  wetted to form grass
Shaved bamboo
Spaghetti, mashed and/or formed, dried and painted

Perhaps some of these may get the imagination working.
