Thanks to Bill, Jan, Ol'Don, Mark and Rod for the advise on resolution.
Everybody agrees; use 72 to 100 dpi for web shots.
Being a veteran of many years of manual shooting with an old Canon AE1 all I
have to do now is find the shutter speed, f-stops, and light meter. (just
kidding) The autofocus is sure going to be a boon, slowly failing eyesight
was making focusing difficult through the lens.
Thank you Bill for the wishes, I'm already having fun with the camera. Got
lots of family shots on Christmas day and now playing with all the neat
things you can do with them (no more red-eye for one).
I will notify the list when I get a Picture Trail set up.
