I don't know for sure when they sold out, but anything later than the 70's is
likely suspect. MF was downgrading their quality even when they were still
American made as I understand it, although that is anecdotal and I have nothing
to back it up.  There are Millers Falls tool groups and enthusiasts out on the
internet.  If you use Google or other search engine, you may find some very
knowledgeable folks willing to talk MF tools and their history.
