I agree that Arkansas stones are hard to find. BUT I did find a high
grade set of slips at:

These slips are as good as the OLD ones I purchased about 25 years ago.
One of the old ones got DROPPED by one of my students, who was more
than willing to pay for a replacement, as long as I ordered one for
her, as well.
There may be other suppliers, but I am not aware of them. I was pleased
with the product she sent out. And, BTW, ask for her catalogue while
you are at it.
