Greg, glad you are planning on the "informal get together." I had hoped to get by your place before long, but too many things here on the ranch interfered. I had a couple of eagle carvings that I had to get out and then it was back to the normal chores of an Ozark winter. Wood. No! Not Carving! Firewood! It is a major time consumer.

Anyway, I am now planning on planning on headin' south along about the middle of February. Since I am late with planning, I decided not to head for the spots where an RV site would be questionable. So, decided to head for the Big Bend country. We will spend a week in Alpine, Texas (anyone know of any carving interests down that way?). And, will head back just in time for the Seminar.

Jan, sorry you won't be able to make it for the Silver Dollar City/Ozark Mountain Woodcarvers Seminar. I will miss seeing those "firewood" carvings. I, too, am looking forward to "trading" with Big Dog, even if I am only offering paper or plastic in return for necessary (desired) supplies. The "informal get together" will be great, and I will try and get a good place in the line for food (in front of some others!
