Jean,
I own the router attachment as well as the router table for the dremel.
It is by no means able to take the place of a full size router. The dremel
is hard to control and from my experience the cuts are not professional in
nature. I use it to do edge work on 3/4 to 1" basswood and softer woods. It
is not HSS and does tend to over heat frequently. If you do edge work a lot
be prepared to buy quite a few bits........
