Hi there Mike,

I see your point, firstly, we don't have a Walmart in Australia. Secondly, the sale of knives in Australia is severely restricted. Department stores such as K-Mart are not allowed to sell knives. Hardware stores can sell some sort of knives, but of the 20 or so that I have been into, I cannot find anything that looks like a wood carving knife - and even when I asked as far as the manager (in even the largest store) the best I could do was a set of craft knives where the plastic handle snapped in a matter of minutes. The wood thing really isn't a bother, I have to use red gum - that is the cheapest.
