I carved leather for several years before moving into
woodcarving. I have used a few of the stippling tools and
some others in woodcarving. This spring, I was looking at
the many tools sitting there getting dusty and took a long
look at the swivel knife. I had the blade ground down some,
I don't think enough, and have played with it some on
relief works. I think I will have to tilt it over a bit,
rather than holding it in the straight up position, but
believe it will eventually come to be useful in making
curves.
