I MADE A INEXPENSIVE EFFECTIVE DUST COLLECTOR FROM A 20 INCH SQUARE BOX FAN. I GOT TWO FILTERS FROM HOME DEPOT, TAPED THEM TOGETHER AT THE EDGE AND THEN TAPED THEM TO THE INLET SIDE OF THE FAN. I THEN HAD TO TAPE UP ALL OF THE VARIOUS HOLES ON THE EDGE OF THE FAN SO THAT IT WOULD CREATE A GOOD VACUM AND PRESTO A 3 SPEED DUST COLLECTOR. REGARDS, STEVE

I am finding myself doing a bit of work at home, and my wife is not overly happy with the chips and dust that I am generating of an evening. Has anybody on the list come up with a shop built dust collection system for setup on a small table? Alternatively, has anyone discovered a system on the retail market that works efficiently? Anything I get should be as quiet as possible, as I am generally parked in a trafficked area of the house, within earshot of the TV.

  Thanks muchly,

   Stephan
