Thanks for all the input on small collectors:  I hadn't heard of the 
Razaire unit before, but it certainly does look investment worthy.  I still 
want to check out our local salvage yard for computer box fans ( it is a 
rather incredible salvage yard full of amazing things that make you wish 
you could figure out something to do with them ), but if I don't find what 
I need to make a decent system, I'll probably buy the Razaire and use it at 
my shop as well as in the house.
