For Stephan; I've seen many of these types of dust collectors, but have been most impressed by the shop made models with cases/cabinet of 1/4" plexiglass. With this type you can give dust free demos without obscuring(?) vison of spectators. The joints are secured with silicon adhesive. You have a lot of good advise on the exhaust end from the list. Hope this helps. Best regards Ray Mighells 6760 Rt 417 Killbuck NY 716 945 0098 Please view my work at: http://www.picturetrail.com/razaxnstuff

To the list:
I am finding myself doing a bit of work at home, and my wife is not overly happy with the chips and dust that I am generating of an evening. Has anybody on the list come up with a shop built dust collection system for setup on a small table? Alternatively, has anyone discovered a system on the retail market that works efficiently? Anything I get should be as quiet as possible, as I am generally parked in a trafficked area of the house, within earshot of the TV.
Thanks muchly,
Stephan
