  You are not seeing things.  The lampshade is made using a "cut and pierced technique".  First the design is sketched onto the lampshade paper, then each line is cut with an x-acto knife.  Tjme consuming, but I thought it would be a good addition to the lamps!

        What a clever idea for a lamp and then to add design to the lamp shade also. It looks like it has holes in it?  How was that accomplished or am I just seeing thing?  Good luck on your sale!
