[Woodcarver] pencil marks

Hey Vic (sounds funny to me) I use the white eraser with varied success.  The
best thing I have found is a chalk pencil, also found in arts and craft stores. I 
have used white (chalk) and also black (charcoal).  These both clean easily with
water.  You also don't have to press hard to get an adequate mark.  This eliminates
the lines in the wood sometimes left by heavy handed folks like me.
