Hi Vance:
Best thing to do is carve the lines off. If you have "drawing reference
lines" on the pattern that really are not meant to be carved that is a
different matter. For this problem use a graphics program (Corel Draw,
Photoshop, etc) and use your "eraser option" to remove/erase any
unwanted lines on the motif BEFORE you print out the pattern on your
lazer printer.

I'd like to hear some feedback on the use of heat transferred patterns.
I am primarily a chip carver & find this to be a quick, easy & accurate
method of getting my pattern onto a plate, box, board, or whatever.
However, I have just about quit using it.............the problem comes
after carving, when there are remnants of the pattern that are not
completely carved off.............I've found nothing (& I've tried many
many different cleaners, bleaches & solvents) that will remove the
transferred toner short of sandpaper, which is the last thing one wants
to use on a completed chip carving. Thanx !!! Vance in
NC
