That's what the list is all about. If he had "just sent it throught the list(s), there would not be a problem. You and I subscribe to the list(s) to get email via the list. Mail lists have rules. If rule is violated the owner, moderator, what ever you want to call the person with the passwords, can remove the violator from the mail list. This will stop you from getting anyfurther email from that person, unless the person has mined e-mail address and uses the mined information for mass mailings. There's a name for that, it's called "spam". That type of mining is one way spammers get your e-mail address. There's no way to really stop manual mining, except informing people that it not an acceptable practice. Enforcement in the case of mail lists is to ban the person from the mail list. It's up to the person in charge as to what is done when this type of thing happens.
